JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An affiliate of Phlo Corp. said that its performance/vitality beverage product, AQUISS, will be sold in 450 7-Eleven stores from Bakersfield, Calif., to the Oregon border. 7-Eleven plans a launch of AQUISS in October.
"We are all very excited about this major 7-Eleven development so early in the distribution process, as its puts AQUISS on the map," James B. Hovis, CEO of the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company said. "This should have a major impact on the revenue of the company shortly and over the long term."
Recently, AQUISS was purchased by Palo Alto Egg Co., a customer of Bon Appetit, which services the food and beverage requirements of such Silicon Valley companies as Google, Yahoo and Intel. Other new accounts of note which have recently purchased AQUISS include Eagle Ridge Golf Course, Cazadores Bottle Shop, Neighborhood Gas Mart, Coach House, Chualar Market, Deluxe Foods, Easy Mart, Key Market, Lulu's Fiesta Liquors, Fish Lady, Valley Liquors, Oak Park Market and Bozzo's Liquors.
The rollout will include an aggressive sampling campaign to acquaint 7-Eleven's customers with the technology behind and the intended benefits of AQUISS.
AQUISS features the company's Instant Nano Hydration and Cell Armor technologies, which the company claims provides instant, direct delivery of rehydration and cell- repair-and-protection payloads into the bloodstream beginning through the membranes of the mouth.[and] help provide sustained wellness necessary for life's performances and vigorous longevity. In addition, the company's nano-encapsulation technology prevents the destruction of its active payloads in the stomach.
Phlo is a biotechnology company and a manufacturer and marketer of products (primarily liquids) containing patented and patent-pending biotechnologies. Phlo is focusing its technology generation and acquisition efforts on those technologies related to enhancing cognition and personal performance, reducing the effects of aging and preventing or ameliorating cancer, it said.
