STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Bebida Beverage Co. (BeBevCo) a developer, manufacturer and marketer of relaxation and energy drinks, has announced a second major distribution agreement in the Midwest. BeBevCo has signed a contract with Star Distributing of Wisconsin, which will distribute BeBevCo's Koma Unwind relaxation drink; including both Chillaxation drinks and Chillaxation shots. Star Distributing services more than 1,100 convenience stores, truckstops, and travel centers throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa; many of which are multi-store franchises.
Star [image-nocss] Distributing was founded in 1986 as a distributor of sunglasses. Over the years, Star Distributing has grown in size and now provides its customers with a variety of name brand and licensed products including 5 Hour energy, Panama Jack, Zippo, BIC, Duracell, Fuji, NASCAR and NFL merchandise as well as many other products.
"We are very pleased to continue expansion to the Midwest through our new partnership with Star Distributing for our Koma Unwind 'Chillaxation Drinks' and 'Chillaxation shots'," said Brian Weber, CEO of BeBevCo.
In late June, BeBevCo announced that it would partner with Budweiser distributor Griffen Beverage Co. of Michigan, which who serves 41 counties in Michigan. BeBevCo's popular Koma Unwind 2-oz relaxation shot as well as its Koma Unwind Chillaxation drinks will be put in stores via Griffen's distribution system.
Griffen Beverage Co. has been in business since 1967 in the state of Michigan.
"We have started with a grass roots effort in the state of North Carolina and now have completed our biggest distributorship outside of North Carolina," said Weber. "We are going to commence a global marketing effort starting next week through a public relations firm that specializes in Internet marketing. It is our mission to simply put drinks on shelves inside of stores and the rest will take care of itself."
