La. company to distribute new-age drink
MADISONVILLE, La. -- Innovative Beverage Group Holdings Inc. announced a partnership with Madisonville, LA-based Champagne Beverage Co. Inc. to distribute the company's proprietary beverage, drank, a 16-ounce "extreme relaxation" drink that blends melatonin, valerian root and rose hips to help induce a natural calming effect.

Under the agreement, Champagne Beverage Co. will bring drank to retailers in the parishes of Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington.

Champagne Beverage Co. has served the north shore region of Louisiana since 1957 with [image-nocss] both cutting-edge and staple beverages in the categories of beer, water and functional beverages. It currently provides approximately 1,000 on- and off- premise accounts around the region with products from Anheuser-Busch, Crown Imports, Lazy Magnolia Brewery and Florida Beer Co. Drank is the company's first venture into the "calming" drink functional beverage category.

"Champagne Beverage was selected to be the official drank distributor of southeast Louisiana because of their good reputation among retailers for bringing beverages that are in-demand to the people of the region," said Peter Bianchi, CEO of Innovative Beverage Group. "Their keen business sense and strong capacity for tracking beverage trends makes them ideally suited to assist with bringing the calming category to the forefront, and drank to every U.S. household."

Champagne Beverage Co. joins a network of regional distributors and convenience-store outlets that have added drank to their new-age beverage lineup, including 7-Eleven stores nationwide.

Innovative Beverage Group Holdings Inc. is a Nevada-based corporation based in Houston that engages in the distribution and wholesale of products in the new-age beverage category.
