Cupcake Vineyards Offers a New Entry in Single-Serve Wine

Moscato d’Asti now available in 187-mL bottles and three-packs

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- The single-serve wine business just got a boost as Cupcake Vineyards brings its Moscato d’Asti to 187-mL single-serve bottles.

The single-serve bottles of the Cupcake Vineyards Moscato d’Asti are available nationally at the suggested retail price of $4.99 for a single bottle and $14.99 for a three-pack.

“Premium wine in the 187-mL size is growing eight times faster than the wine category," said Kim Fabbri, director of marketing for Cupcake Vineyards, Livermore, Calif., citing Nielsen data for the 13 weeks ending April 22, 2017. "Our consumers have been clamoring for the Moscato d’Asti in the single-serve format, so we’re excited to share this fun grab-and-go wine with them.”

Cupcake Vineyards first entered the single-serve format in 2016 with its prosecco, and it's hardly the first wine to make the move.
