DNA, Amster Kritz Team Up on Beverages in Ohio

DNA Energy Drink, DNA Beef Jerky, more now available through distributor's network
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- DNA Beverage Corp., producers of DNA Energy Drink, DNA Beef Jerky and DNA Shred Stix, has announced that it has begun shipments to Amster Kirtz Co. in Ohio. Amster Kirtz, a major regional candy tobacco/specialty distributor, services more than 1,100 convenience stores and college c-stores including The Ohio State University and Kent State University. Amster also services Ohio's prison system, goodwill industries and hospital gift shops including the Cleveland Clinic and Akron City Hospitals.

Jim Griffith, an Amster Kirtz buyer, said, "We are very pleased [image-nocss] to have been able to add the DNA product line to our extensive client portfolio and feel that DNA's products will appeal to and resonate with our customer base. DNA's quality products, unique flavor profiles and value pricing made a compelling argument and easy decision to take the line on."

Jeff Martin, DNA's newly appointed Midwest vice president, said that the Amster Kirtz not only provides a conventional solution to obtaining distribution through the independent c-stores it presently services, but also an opportunity to address hard-to-reach specialty locations like colleges, hospitals, clinics and prisons.

He added, "We anticipate to rapidly expand our footprint in the Midwest over the next few months by building a powerful distribution network."

DNA Energy Drink comes in Citrus, Sugar Free Citrus, and Lemon Lime flavors. DNA Beef Jerky comes in Original and Teriyaki flavors and DNA Shred Stix come in Original, Pizza and Spicy Jalapeno flavors.
