DNA Begins Distribution of Redline at RaceTrac

Grass Roots Beverage continues its Florida expansion
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- DNA Beverage Corp., maker of DNA Energy Drink and DNA Beef Jerky, said that its wholly owned distribution company, Grass Roots Beverage Corp., has added VPX/Redline to its portfolio of food, beverage and supplement companies. Initially, it will distribute the ready-to-drink (RTD), Extreme, Princess and Meltdown lines. It will distribute products to RaceTrac convenience stores.

Redline is produced by Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc./Red Line (VPX/Red Line), Davie, Fla., a major U.S. beverage producer with annual estimated revenue of $150 million.

"Continuing [image-nocss] to build our own Grass Roots distribution network is not only helping to grow the DNA brand label but those of others in a market with limited distribution opportunities. Every stop our trucks make with a new product aboard makes us more valuable to the retailer and ultimately produces more revenue for the company," said Ralph Sabella, DNA Beverages' vice president of operations.

He added, "Initial Red Line distribution efforts are centering on 21 counties in central and northern Florida, including Tampa and Orlando. As an approved vendor, we have begun to service RaceTrac in the territory. RaceTrac has over 500 convenience/gas locations primarily in the Southeast."

Grass Roots Beverage was created by DNA Beverage in order to get its own DNA Energy Drink to market.

DNA Energy Drink is a product of DNA Beverage Corp., Boca Raton, Fla. DNA Energy Drink comes in 16-oz. cans in flavors including Lemon Lime, Citrus and Citrus Sugar Free and sells for a suggested retail price of $1.99.

DNA Beverage, with its roots in action sports, is the title sponsorship of the Star/Yamaha Racing Team, which competes on a world-class level in Supercross and Motocross. DNA Energy Drink can also be found in other action sports such as surfing, BMX riding, wakeboarding and skateboarding. It has strong recognition within the action sports community including the stores and venues that support these athletes and participants and is a regular at skate parks across the Southeast. Its 80-foot DNA-branded semi-trailer is a fixture at events all over the country, and it regularly supports its retailers and distributors and at various community and charitable functions such as the van's recent appearance at the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Fla.
