Dos Equis Earns Awards

Honored by Market Watch, Impact Magazine, Beverage Information Group

NEW YORK -- Dos Equis, the fastest-growing premium Mexican beer in the United States, was the recipient of the Market Watch “Beer Brand of The Year” Award. Additionally, Dos Equis, imported by Heineken USA, took home Impact Magazine’s 2010 Hot Brand Award and Beverage Information Group’s 2010 Growth Brand Award in the ‘Fast Track’ category.

The Market Watch “Beer Brand of the Year” Award was elected by a group of more than 200 active retail leaders from across the country that collectively represents more than $10 billion in sales.

Impact Magazine “Hot Brand” selections are based on a survey conducted with Impact Magazine and Market Watch readers. The Beverage Information Group “Fast Track” Growth Brand Award is awarded to brands that are at least 5 years old, have exceeded 100,000 9-liter cases in the current year and have achieved double-digit growth in each of the past four years.
