Gila Brew Relaunches Crunk Juce

Premium malt beverage returns to shelves with new, targeted packaging
ROSWELL, Ga.-- U.S. beverage supplier Gila Brew Co. LLC has announced the relaunch of the CJ Crunk Juce premium malt beverage.

Crunk Juce, also known as "CJ," was launched in 2010 by Gila Brew. Made by 7th Street Brewing, CJ is now being relaunched with a new packaging design and fresh flavors.

CJ targets an adult audience of 21 to 29 year old males and females. The new packaging design "unmistakably" targets CJ's adult audience, the company said.

With a well-marked "We I.D." label and a darker design, the can's message to drink responsibly is imperative, the [image-nocss] company added.

"Crunk Juce is about connecting the brand to consumer lifestyles," said Tom Mahlke, president and CEO of the Roswell, Ga.-based company. "Crunk Juce offers a balance of taste and alcohol content for buyers with the appropriate lifestyle."

CJ's new slogan is "TASTE, Come and Get Some."

CJ is now available in three fruity flavors: watermelon, grape and fruit punch.

Produced in 24-ounce aluminum cans, it is available in both 6% and 12% alcohol by volume to meet local and state requirements.

The launch of Crunk Juce will be supported with custom-designed point-of-sale (POS) materials for use by retailers such as cooler decals, posters, banners and various display materials.

CJ will also feature local sampling and promotional events, along with a large social media campaign that will include interactive, web-based advertisements, contests and events.
