"We see a pervasive [image-nocss] trend towards zero-sugar, zero-calorie beverages, and as a new energy drink, 'pure' fits well into to those offerings," Richard Ginther, Kum & Go category manager.
"From its label to its formula, Pure was made with health-conscious and trendsetting consumers in mind," said Garrett Green, CEO. "We wanted to reintroduce a wider range of people to the concept of a cold, caffeinated beverage without scaring them away with overly masculine themes and uber amounts of sugar and calories."
Garrett, who is also the founder and owner of the Buffalo, N.Y.-based company, will spend the next several weeks planning for a comprehensive, multi-channel advertising campaign to be launched within cities such as Des Moines, Iowa, Tulsa, Okla., Springfield, Mo., and Denver.
