Monarch, 7-Eleven Stores Extend CoMotion Sampling Promotion

Renegotiated campaign will run Oct. 29-31
ATLANTA -- A "free can" sampling promotion from CoMotion, Monarch Beverages' "no-crash" energy boost line, has led to an extension of the promotion with 7-Eleven stores and has been expanded to a three-day window at 7-Eleven locations throughout the Oklahoma City region. The free can sampling promotionoriginally launched in Augusthas been renegotiated with 7-Eleven stores through 109 locations and will include an integrated marketing campaign from October 29 to 31, brand representatives said.

"This sampling program worked to drive trial and adoption in its one-day format," [image-nocss] said Tommy Little, Monarch's vice president of sales.

The free can promo will be supported by a customized consumer web page for redemption coupon downloads (www.comotionenergy.com/7-Eleven); in-store point of sale (POS); a text messaging mobile application extension offering consumers immediate redemption codes; and a supporting promotion schedule with targeted radio partners KJ 103 and Rock 100.5, which reach the brand's primary young adult target.

Monarch launched its antioxidant and adaptogen-packed CoMotion formulation in 2008. The line comes in Dragon fruit flavor and is packaged in 8.4-oz. cans. Distribution has focused on drug and c-store channels.
