New Leaf Launches Line of Lemonades

Expands distribution in Arizona, California, New York
ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- New Leaf Brands launched into a new categorylemonadesthis week, expanding on and diversifying its established and popular category of ready-to-drink (RTD) iced teas.

New Leaf's lemonades are available in three flavors: Homemade, Black Cherry and Strawberry. Additionally, "The Tiger," half iced tea/half lemonade, will debut as part of the lemonade line-up. New Leaf's 100% natural lemonades are made with pure organic cane juice and contain 10% real fruit juice.

"We're delighted to offer consumers a great tasting and healthy new selection of lemonades [image-nocss] that offer a superior taste experience, a commitment that is carried through all of our products, including our 14 flavors of RTD teas," said Eric Skae, founder and CEO, New Leaf Brands. "We've received a very positive response, and we expect the new lemonades to be available in retail establishments in each of the 35 states where New Leaf is carried."

In related news, New Leaf recently signed separate distribution agreements enabling its RTD iced teas to be available in the state of Arizona and in major urban areas of southern California. Additionally, through a partnership with Manhattan Beer, New Leaf intends to double its distribution in the New York metro area during the next three months.

Founded by Eric Skae in 2004 in Orangeburg, N.Y., New Leaf Brands was born out of a vision to provide consumers with a healthy and great-tasting beverage. New Leaf Brands are available in 14 flavors and sweetened with 100% organic cane sugar. In the U.S., the beverages can be found in more than 8,000 outlets.
