A New Slant on Malt Beverages

A-B introduces TILT

ST. LOUIS -- Anheuser-Busch hopes its newest beverage can provide a needed sales kick just as the product will give consumers a kick. TILT is a premium malt beverage that includes caffeine, ginseng, guarana and a combination of berry flavors with a bold orange color.

Noting that the flavored, caffeinated malt beverage category is up 107% over last year, A-B says TILT has the attitude young males 21 and over want.

Consumers are looking for a way to divide the work day and fun night, the company states in its sell-sheet. TILT has [image-nocss] all the attributes the contemporary male is looking for to turn off the day and tilt the night his way.

The new beverage comes in 16-ounce cans and hi-cone 4-packs. The product began rolling out yesterday, Aug. 8.
