Pabst Brewing Names Coleman as President
A-B vet brings 23 years of experience to privately held brewer
MILWAUKEE -- Pabst Brewing Co. said that John Coleman, former vice president of sales for the West at Anheuser-Busch, has been hired as president. In this position, Coleman will focus on Pabst's sales and marketing teams and be responsible for solidifying Pabst's relationships with its distributors.
Coleman brings 23 years of experience to Pabst as well as tremendous knowledge of the industry, its customers and distributor relations. Coleman, a longtime A-B veteran, began in a role in the sales department and was responsible for approximately $1.6 billion in revenue when he left.

In business since 1844, Milwaukee-based Pabst Brewing is North America's largest privately held brewing company. Its portfolio includes brands with deep ties to America's heritage such as Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, Colt 45, Old Style, Lone Star, Stroh's, Ballantine, Old Milwaukee and Rainer. Pabst Brewing is owned by Evan, Daren and C. Dean Metropoulos, who acquired the company in 2010.
