RaceTrac Authorizes Sale of DNA Energy Drink in All Florida Stores

Statewide rollout follows trial in large-format locations

ATLANTA -- RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. has forged an agreement with DNA Brands Inc., makers of the DNA Energy Drink and DNA Meat Snacks, to expand DNA's presence in Florida by approving the energy drink for sale at all of its Florida locations.

Boca Raton, Fla.-based DNA Brands makes DNA Energy Drink, DNA Beef Jerky and DNA Shred Stix. DNA Energy Drink is a proprietary blend of ingredients in four flavors: Citrus, Lemon Lime, Sugar Free Citrus and Cranrazberry.

"After approximately one year of being located at RaceTrac's large-format stores, it is rewarding that our marketing and advertising efforts have been recognized and we now have this expansion opportunity," said Russ Rickon, vice president of sales for DNA Brands Inc. "We as a company are dedicated to supporting our retailers with strong advertising programs that will result in more people learning of and trying our award winning products."

He added, "RaceTrac is the latest major retailer joining Walgreens and Circle K now offering DNA statewide."

Independent retailers throughout the state sell the DNA Brand products as well as national retailers including Walgreens, CVS, RaceTrac and Circle K.

Atlanta-based RaceTrac operates more than 300 stores under the RaceTrac name, These stores can be found in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. A standard RaceTrac location features 20 to 24 fueling positions and a 5,000-square-foot or larger convenience store.
