RaceTrac Picks Up DNA Lines

Adds DNA Energy Drink, DNA Beef Jerky, DNA Shred Stix in Fla., La.
BOCA RATON, Fla. RaceTrac stores throughout Florida and Louisiana are adding DNA Beverage Corp.'s DNA Energy Drink, DNA Beef Jerky and DNA Shred Stix. Separately, the beverage company is also expanding its distribution footprint with drug store chain CVS by adding the greater Miami market to its current CVS locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The products will be marketed as part of a joint program between CVS and the Florida Marlins.

Russ Rickon, DNA's national sales vice president, said, "The CVS/Florida Marlins program follows similar programs that are in [image-nocss] effect in Louisiana with the New Orleans Hornets and in Central Florida with the Orlando Magic and Walgreens. These localized initiatives are part of an overall national strategy to build brand awareness that includes major support of the action sports community where we compete at the highest level with the best in motocross, surf, wakeboard and skateboard."

DNA Energy Drink comes in Citrus, Sugar Free Citrus and Lemon Lime flavors. DNA Beef Jerky comes in Original and Teriyaki flavors, and DNA Shred Stix come in Original, Pizza and Spicy Jalapeno flavors.

Atlanta-based RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. operates approximately 270 retail gasoline convenience stores throughout Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. It also operates c-store gas stations under the RaceWay flag.
