DALLAS -- Jeff Farris, president of Red River Tea Co., has announced the recent hiring of sales and marketing veteran Bob Merz as Red River's vice president of customer growth.
Merz has worked at some of the most respected consumer and retail, beverage and food organizations in the country including Anheuser-Busch, Pennzoil, 7-Eleven and Hot Stuff Foods. In this newly created position, Merz will lead all efforts for both increasing customer same store sales and expanding point of retail penetration for Red River's TeaZzers! brand.
Bob has a tremendous history of experience and success in the convenience and petroleum channels as well as a successful track record in building branded businesses in foodservice, said Farris. He understands the importance of having a sound value proposition in the convenience channel, while delivering the latest thinking on the retail customer's wants and needs.
