On the Run Adds Modjo

"Rejuvenation" beverage to hit shelves in 250 locations
SUNRISE, Fla. -- On the Run Convenience Stores has agreed to carry the Modjo forLIFE anti-aging and rejuvenation beverage from Cellutions LLC, a leading maker of New Age dietary supplement and beverages. The announcement that On the Run will be carrying all three Modjo forLIFE flavors in more than 250 stores comes on the heels of the recent expansion of the brand's availability at both the Circle K South East and Gulf Coast business unit.

"Our customers consistently tell us they want more from the products we sell and Modjo forLIFE delivers just that with its great taste [image-nocss] and functional combination," said Joe Murphy, franchise marketing manager for On the Run. "We were impressed with all of the work that went into crafting these products and the science behind each ingredient that supports the products anti-aging, rejuvenating and heart health benefits. We are excited about being in the forefront and meeting the changing expectations of our customers."

Four years ago, Cellutions launched Modjo Synergy, a patented and all-natural hangover prevention supplement. Modjo Synergy tablets were the first in a series of Modjo branded lifestyle products launched by Cellutions which was formed in 2002. After Modjo Synergy, the company introduced Caffeine Free, Modjo Life Natural Energy Shots.

Most recently, the company introduced Modjo forLIFE, available in three flavors: Grape Pomegranate, Simply Citrus and Island Punch. Modjo forLIFE is a functional beverage powered by the natural ingredient Resveratrol, which has been shown to have anti-aging properties as reported in several clinical studies from leading universities and research centers, Cellutions said. Modjo forLIFE is also caffeine free and contains vitamins and antioxidants.

The Sunrise, Fla.-based company also has introduced Modjo Hydrade, a hydration beverage, an all-natural thirst quencher infused with real coconut water and fortified with sea salt.

The On the Run brand is owned by Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., a Canadian convenience store company that operates other c-store brands including Circle K, Couche-Tard and Mac's. Globally, ACT is the 2nd largest convenience store company, with more than 9,000 stores operated under these recognized brand names. The On the Run franchise system in the United States is the most recent acquisition of Alimentation Couche-Tard, having been purchased from ExxonMobil in May 2009.
