"We are proud to collaborate with such a well-established powerhouse like 7-Eleven. When it comes to convenient locations and high-quality products there's no better [image-nocss] place for our brand to be. With this new distribution agreement with 7-Eleven we are one step closer to helping America de-stress," said Travis Hollman, co-founder of the leading relaxation beverage, Vacation in a Bottle.
Dallas entrepreneurs Travis Hollman and Johnny Dela Valdene, creators of The Marshmallow Shooter toy, also created ViB. They launched it after seeing what they call a growing backlash against the energy drink market. ViB's main ingredient is the amino acid L-Theanine, the same ingredient that gives green tea its calming effect. Combined with other amino acids and B-vitamins, ViB is a low-sugar, no-caffeine, lightly carbonated beverage that relaxes, while increasing focus and concentration, they said.
ViB is available nationwide at major retailers including 7-Eleven, ARCO ampm, QuikTrip, Albertsons, United Market Street and many other independent retailers. ViB Holdings LLC is headquartered in Dallas.
The company also recently announced that The Fairfield, Calif.-based Tri-Eagle Beverage Co., a beverage sales and distribution company focused on both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will deliver ViB to retail outlets throughout Napa and Solano counties and portions of Sacramento county.
7 Eleven, also based in Dallas, operates, franchises or licenses some 7,850 7-Eleven stores in North America. Globally, 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 36,600 stores in 15 countries. During 2008, 7-Eleven stores worldwide generated total sales of more than $53.7 billion.
