Vital Lifestyle Water names O'Donnell SE sales VP

CALGARY, Alb. -- Vital Lifestyle Water has selected industry veteran Mick O'Donnell as vice president of sales for its southeast region, which includes Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

O'Donnell brings years of sales, marketing and management expertise to Vital Lifestyle Water, which will help further the beverage's introduction into markets across the country, the company said.

His beverage expertise was developed from the ground up and his career has been marked by positions with some major [image-nocss] brands. He served for seven years as vice president of sales for Arizona Beverage Co., where he managed sales relationships with industry giants such as Publix, Winn Dixie, Albertsons, Kroger and Target. There he helped increase sales and focused on substantially growing distribution throughout the Southeast and was the first to introduce Arizona Gallons into the beverage aisle.

Prior to that, O'Donnell held various managerial positions with Seagram Beverage Co., Royal Crown Cola Co. and Coca Cola Bottling Co. of New York.

Paul Paterson, president of Calgary, Alberta-based Vital Lifestyle Water, said, "Mick will be a critical part of the Vital team, and we look forward to expanding rapidly in the Southeast region through his relationships and tenacity."

Vital Lifestyle Water was created for and by people who want all the benefits of a vitamin enhanced water without processed or artificial sweeteners and extra calories. It is the first and only brand in North America sweetened with Fruit Up, a 100% natural fruit extract with the lowest Glycemic Index of all all-natural sweeteners, said the company.

The beverage is functional water with vitamins, minerals and all-natural supplements. It is 100% purified water in our lightly flavored, functional varieties: Acai Berry for Burn, Guava for Calm, Citrus Starfruit for Vitality and Dragonfruit to Energize. It promotes wellness through vitamin, mineral and supplement combinations. At 15 calories per serving, it has no artificial sweeteners, colors or flavors. And each serving provides up to one-quarter of the recommended daily intake of vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12.
