PORTLAND, Ore. -- 7-Eleven on Feb. 22 dedicated a day for Portland, Ore.-area residents to see what's cooking, brewing, baking and warming at its stores on "Fabulous Fresh Foods Friday," or FFFF.
From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., selected 7-Eleven stores are serving free samples of prepared foods like its Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Blueberry Pancake Sausage Roller, Mini Donuts, Turkey and Havarti Sandwiches, hot Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza, Chicken Chipotle Mini Tacos and hot beverages such as 7-Eleven's new Brazilian Dark Roast coffee and Skinny Salted Caramel Mocha Cappuccino.
Seven Portland stores are participating in the sampling event as well as select 7-Eleven stores in Albany, Aloha, Beaverton, Coos Bay, Medford, Pasco, Redmond, Spokane, Spokane Valley, Springfield, Tigard, Vancouver, West Linn, Woodburn and Yakima in Oregon and Washington.
"7-Eleven is focused on creating foods and beverages that are not just convenient, but also delicious … especially delicious," said Larry Hughes, zone leader for Oregon and Washington 7-Eleven stores. "Whether someone is hungry for breakfast, lunch, or a snack and drink to tide them over between meals, our stores have something tasty to offer. Fresh Foods Friday lets us showcase and sample some of our newest items. I think once people taste for themselves, they'll consider 7-Eleven as an alternative to the typical fast-food restaurants."
Foods and drinks to be sampled will vary by store.
Select 7-Eleven stores in Portland, Springfield, Woodburn and Albany, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash., will be sampling Chicken Chipotle Mini Tacos and Southwest Eggrolls; Maple and Boston Creme Mini Donuts; Blueberry Pancake Rollers and Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage; Turkey and Havarti Sandwiches, Turkey and Bacon Club Sandwiches; and Brazilian Dark Roast Coffee and Skinny Caramel Mocha Latte.
Other 7-Eleven stores in Portland, Aloha and West Linn will be sampling Maple Mini Donuts and Boston Creme Mini Donuts; Blueberry Pancake Rollers and Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage; and Turkey and Havarti Sandwiches and Turkey and Bacon Club Sandwiches.
Certain 7-Eleven stores in Coos Bay, Medford and Redmond, Ore., and Spokane and Spokane Valley, Wash., will sample Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza, Chicken Mini Tacos, Chicken Wings and Southwest Eggroll; Brazilian Dark Roast Coffee and Skinny Caramel Mocha Latte.
Select 7-Eleven stores in Pasco and Yakima, Wash., will offer Blueberry Pancake Roller, Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and Go-Go Taquitos; 7-Select Packaged Bakery; and New Brazilian Dark Roast Coffee and Skinny Caramel Mocha Latte.
