7-Eleven Selects APW Wyott Roller Grills

Retailer designates Standex company as an approved supplier

DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. has selected Standex International Corp.'s APW Wyott brand as an approved supplier for roller grills. Equipment shipments are expected to commence fourth-quarter 2010, Standex has announced.

"7-Eleven's focus on fresh and quality food products is precisely aligned with our foodservice equipment product capabilities," said John Abbott, vice president of Standex Food Service Equipment Group. "We look forward to expanding this important customer relationship to include other Standex Food Service Equipment Group products in the future."

Dallas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 8,200 7-Eleven stores in North America and approximately 38,500 stores in 16 countries.

APW Wyott serves customers across the global casual and fine dining, supermarket, fast food, convenience store, hospitality and institutional markets. The company provides a variety of equipment for cooking, toasting, heating and holding, warming and merchandising.

The Food Service Equipment Group (FSEG) is a broad-line manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment, including walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerated, nonrefrigerated and hot display cabinets and storage systems, commercial ovens, rotisseries and cooking equipment, bakery and deli display cases, hot food countertop products, patient feeding systems, rotary vane pumps and stainless-steel fabrication, millwork and solid surface stonework. The majority of the FSEG businesses are grouped into two divisions, Standex Cooking Solutions Group and Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group.

Its companies include American Foodservice, APW Wyott, Bakers Pride, BKI, Federal Industries, Kool Star, Master-Bilt, Nor-Lake Inc. and Procon.
