ampm Offering 'StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm' Collectible Cups

Exclusive deal Blizzard Entertainment features four designs

BLAINE, Wash.-- Convenience store retailer ampm has joined forces with Blizzard Entertainment Inc. to offer customers an exclusive set of collectible cups based on StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm game, which was released worldwide on March 12. The cups rolled out on April 2.

Four designs, each one a 32-oz. cup, will be deployed only at participating ampm locations. The cups will be presented in a next-generation display piece, featuring a StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm base and header card.

This set marks the second time ampm has teamed up with Blizzard, following the release of a set of four World of Warcraft collectible cups in 2012.

"These cups showcase stunning artwork from Blizzard's beloved real-time strategy franchise and StarCraft players will be blown away," said Donna Sanker, ampm marketing vice president. "With a limited supply available at each participating ampm location, collectors will be challenged with the mission of acquiring a complete set."

Heart of the Swarm Heart of the Swarm picks up the story of StarCraft II where Wings of Liberty left off, focusing on Sarah Kerrigan's quest to reunite the Swarm and exact revenge on the treacherous Arcturus Mengsk.
