CAROL STREAM, Ill. -- Foodservice-equipment firm Antunes has added a new-product and marketing manager following a string of recent appointments. In her new role, Sue Puccini will oversee the marketing department and manage product development for grilling solutions and new technology for the foodservice-equipment manufacturer.
Prior to joining Antunes, Puccini worked for McDonald’s as category manager for global strategic sourcing for kitchen equipment. She managed the grill, shake/sundae machine, carbonated beverage machine and blended ice machine categories for the Chicago-based quick-service chain.
“Sue’s strategic category experience and deep foodservice knowledge make her an asset to Antunes,” said Daniel Schmidt, director of strategic operations for Antunes. “She is a dynamic leader, embracing her team’s diverse perspectives to develop creative solutions, whether for an internal process or a customer’s unique need.”
Earlier this year, the company also hired Joe Arvin as its first corporate chef, and Ron Zuehlsdorf joined Antunes as a national account manager.
Antunes specializes in countertop cooking and water filtration solutions and is based in Carol Stream, Ill.
