Chester Visits Cardinal Country Store

Newest unit opens in Stanville, Ky., retail outlet
STANVILLE, Ky. -- Chester's, a leader in fried chicken foodservice programs among convenience stores, has announced the grand opening of its newest location in Kentucky. The Cardinal Country Store, located on the historic "Country Music" Highway 23 South in Stanville, opened its first Chester's on December 19, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Chester the chicken.

"We at the Cardinal Country Store love Chester's great tasting fried chicken, and we look forward to brining it to the people of Stanville and surrounding areas," said Matt Tomlinson, owner of the Cardinal [image-nocss] Country Store.

The Stanville Chester's will offer signature menu options including fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The newest Chester's location will also offer both dine-in and carryout options, as well.

"Chester's is proud to have another great location in the state of Kentucky," said Richard Davis, Vice President of Systems Management at Chester's. "Each opening brings Chester's great chicken and sides to more people, and keeps the brand growing. The Cardinal Country Store has great people and we are excited they are on our team."

Chester's is an emerging leader of quick serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Along with its chicken and other products, Chester's flexible size and store layout options, training and support. It uses only chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides.
