WINNABOW, N.C. -- Convenience store fried chicken foodservice offering Chester's International has opened the grand opening its newest store location in the state of North Carolina. The new Chester's is located inside Han-Dee Hugo's Convenience Store in Winnabow.
"Han-Dee Hugo's is glad to bring the quality chicken that Chester's offers to the Winnabow area and Brunswick County," said John Clark, director of operations for Han-Dee Hugo's. "Chester's offers a great branded foodservice program that will draw even more customers to our store."
The Winnabow Chester's celebrated its grand [image-nocss] opening on October 10. Chester the Chicken was in attendance to help with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and to take grand opening photos with customers and employees.
The location will offer Chester's signature menu options including fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The newest Chester's will also offer both dine-in and carryout options.
"We are extremely excited to bring Chester's great tasting, fresh fried chicken to the Winnabow area," stated Kathryn Kudulis, brand manager for Chester's International. "Han-Dee Hugo's is a great convenience store location and the addition of Chester's will make it even better.
Birmingham, Ala.-based Chester's International is a leader of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Along with its chicken, it offers flexible size and store layout options, training and support. Chester's uses only fresh chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides.
