Chester's Chicken Comes to CITGO Quickstop

Opens unit in Mobile, Ala., area station famed for chicken statue

IRVINGTON, Ala. -- Chester's, a leading fried chicken foodservice offering in the convenience store category, announces the reopening of its Irvington, Ala., location, near Mobile, Ala. The restaurant is owned and operated by Pulin Patel, owner of the CITGO Quickstop.

The Chester's in Irvington has become a local landmark due to the 10-foot chicken statue sitting in the CITGO parking lot.

The location offers Chester's signature double breaded chicken and potato wedges. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering both dine-in and takeout options.

"Chester's [image-nocss] brings consistency, ongoing support and great tasting chicken to our location," said Patel. "We are excited to be part of the Chester's team."

Chester's also recently announced the grand opening of locations in Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska and Oregon. Each Chester's location will feature menu options including their double breaded chicken, potato wedges and signature sauces. They will also offer dine-in, carryout and catering options: Stop N Go Market, White City, Oregon. St. Paul Grocery, St. Paul, Ind. 35-55 Truck Stop, Vaiden, Miss. Len & Jo's Supermarket, Fullerton, Neb. "We are excited to introduce Chester's to our community.
