Chester's Crows About Annual Ranking

Again named among Franchise Times' Top 200 Franchises

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- In the October 2012 issue, Franchise Times magazine announced that convenience store chicken concept Chester's International LLC has once again been ranked as one of the largest franchise systems in the United States by global systemwide sales. Chester's was highlighted as No. 172 in the magazine's annual Top 200 Franchises.

"Chester's consistent ranking is a testament of the company's commitment to its retailers: to provide a loyal brand following, unparalleled customer support and a successful turn-key program," said Ted Giles, CEO of Chester's International.

Birmingham, Ala.-based Chester's is a leader of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,900 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations.

Chester's offers flexible size and store layout options, training and support. It uses only fresh chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides. It also offers the Chester's Chicken On the Fly grab-and-go concept.
