Cody's Expanding Foodservice

Missouri retailer to franchise 20-plus locations with Hot Stuff Foods

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The convenience store chain named after Wild West icon Buffalo Bill Cody is "delivering foodservice with guns a blazing," it said. According to Curtis Jared, president and CEO of Cody's Convenience Stores, the 39-location retailer recently entered into an agreement as a Hot Stuff franchisee for more than 20 units in existing and new stores.

"We've been very impressed with the quality, service, freshness and foodservice profitability that Hot Stuff has provided," said Jared, "Every 21 days each of our stores receives a service visit from our Hot Stuff consultant, who [image-nocss] works hand in hand with our foodservice team on every dimension of our foodservice program."
