Cumberland Farms’ New Year Tradition

Offers free coffee for fifth year running

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- For the fifth consecutive year, Cumberland Farms will offer free coffee starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. An annual community service tradition, Cumberland Farms encourages customers to stop by any one of Cumberland Farms' 585 locations, except those that offer Dunkin' Donuts, for a free cup of Farmhouse Blend coffee, iced or hot.

"The New Year's celebration is a fun and festive American ritual. We are a company rooted in tradition; giving back to the communities we serve is a long-standing Cumberland Farms belief," said company president Ari Haseotes.

Cumberland Farms serves its proprietary Farmhouse Blend coffee. Farmhouse Blend is made from 100% Arabica beans, giving it a mellow, medium blend with a unique balance of aroma, body and flavor, according to the company. At 99 cents any time, any size, iced or hot, Cumberland Farms aims to change the way consumers think about convenience-store coffee.

Framingham, Mass.-based Cumberland Farms is a network of convenience stores across 11 states.
