Oven maker names VP of national accounts for retail, Southeast sales manager

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- Oven manufacturer Alto-Shaam has named Kari Fulton as its vice president of national accounts for retail. The company has also named Ben Lee as its Southeast regional sales manager.

Fulton has worked in foodservice her entire professional career. She has developed retail foodservice solutions for almost 15 years. Whether equipping the operation or running it outright, She knows how to increase production and how to make a healthy return on investment, the company said.

"I like to say my specialty is in developing complete retail systems, especially in the deli area," said Fulton. She has the equipment and operations background to consider all of the needs of a retail operation before recommending solutions.

Before her time in retail, she spent 12 years in foodservice operations in colleges, universities, and other noncommercial foodservice applications. When she was selling equipment, she hired and trained the entire team while increasing sales by almost threefold. She began her foodservice career managing the daily operations of several university and health care foodservice programs.

Fulton will be Alto-Shaam's retail go-to person for its equipment sales in supermarkets.

Lee joined Alto-Shaam in November 2011, bringing a wealth of foodservice and sales experience with him. With more than 10 years experience in sales and project management, and 14 years experience with foodservice and architectural design, he has worked in foodservice from many angles.

His most recent position was working with chain accounts, promoting international expansion.

"Foodservice is such a dynamic industry to be in," said Lee. "There are so many pieces to the puzzle of a successful foodservice organization. Being in the thick of it all is very exciting."

Lee is based in Atlanta and serves Alto-Shaam's Southeast territory.
