Here We Grow Again'

Chester's opens third Road Ranger location
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Road Ranger Travel Plaza in Belvidere, Ill., is the site of third Chester's restaurant in a partnership between the Rockford, Ill.-based fuel and convenience retailer and the Birmingham, Ala.-based c-store fried chicken foodservice franchisor.

A grand opening event was held on July 11. It included a VIP guest appearance by Chester the Chicken. He was on site throughout the day to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and to take photos with customers.

The Belvidere Road Ranger will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner offering Chester's signature [image-nocss] menu options including Chester's fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. This newest Chester's is cobranded with Subway and will offer its customers dine-in carryout and catering options.

"Beep BeepMove over. Here we grow again," said James Venable, director of store operations at Chester's International. "We are excited to add Chester's Fresh Fried Chicken inside another Road Ranger."

All stores operate under the Road Ranger banner and are located in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
