Indy 66 West store adds fried chicken offer

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Indy 66 West convenience store in Indianola, Iowa, is the newest outlet for Chester's International's fried-chicken foodservice offering. The Indianola Chester's celebrated its grand opening on August 15 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Chester the Chicken was also on hand to help with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and to pose for photos with customers and employees.

"We are excited because Indianola is long overdue to have a name-brand chicken restaurant with the quality of Chester's Chicken," said Lee Adams,co-owner of Danlee Corp. Indy 66 West is operated by Danlee [image-nocss] Corp., which also operates 12 other c-stores and two Harley Davidson dealerships in Iowa.

The Indy 66 West will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering Chester's signature menu options, including Chester's fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. The newest Chester's will also offer both dine-in and carryout options.

"Snacks, candy bars, fountain drinks, sure all c-store have them, but now come by the Indy 66 West convenience store and taste Chester's Fresh Fried Chicken.It will surely be a hit," said James Venable, director of store operations for Danlee Corp.

Chester's International is a leader of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Along with its products, Chester's offers flexible size and store layout options, training and support. Chester's uses only fresh chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides.
