Jordan Named President of Master-Bilt

Promoted from operations VP, GM of Standex company BKI

NEW ALBANY, Miss. -- Master-Bilt has announced that Scott Jordan has been named as its new president. The appointment was effective October 24, 2011, the company said.

He has served as vice president of operations and general manager of BKI, a Standex Food Service Equipment Group company, since April 2008. Previous to BKI, he worked with Baldor Electric for 16 years in manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, finance, strategic planning, plant management, marketing, and lean continuous improvement roles.

As Jordan transitions to his new role at Master-Bilt, he will continue to work with the BKI team to support an orderly leadership transition.

Master-Bilt, a member of the Standex Food Service Equipment Group, offers a complete line of commercial refrigeration including walk-ins, cabinets and refrigeration systems for a wide variety of foodservice, food retail and scientific applications. Its Energy Saver program helps users to quickly identify Master-Bilt features and options that reduce energy usage. Master-Bilt's markets of specialty include restaurants, convenience stores, dairies, warehousing and drug stores.
