Kangaroo Express Hails Little Caesar

Retailer adds Hot-N-Ready menu at select locations

CARY, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc.'s Kangaroo Express will now offer Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready menu items at select stores across the Southeast. This is the first time any Kangaroo Express locations will feature an on-premise Little Caesars carryout restaurant.

Customers who visit Kangaroo Express stores with a Little Caesars will enjoy the Hot-N-Ready Classic original round pepperoni or cheese pizza, Crazy Bread, Caesar Wings and other freshly made selections.

Little Caesars large Hot-N-Ready pizzas are made with ingredients including naturally aged mozzarella and Muenster cheese, dough made fresh daily in each store and sauce made with California vine-ripened tomatoes. These pizzas and other products are offered hot out of the oven and ready to be carried out immediately after the order is placed.

Four Kangaroo Express stores have recently opened Little Caesars restaurants, including Hickory and Cornelius, N.C., Fruitland Park, Fla., and Vicksburg, Miss.

"Customers demand high standards for quality and service, and we're ready to exceed their expectations," said senior vice president of global marketing Ed Gleich. "Little Caesars quality Hot-N-Ready pizzas are ready for carryout when our customers want them, with no waiting or need to call ahead to order. Customers can now simply visit a Kangaroo Express and a fresh, quality pizza will be waiting for them."

The expansion of Little Caesars into Kangaroo Express stores is part of Kangaroo Express' mission to provide even more fresh, quick service options for consumers on-the-go. It is an example of the investments Kangaroo Express said that it is making in its communities across the southeastern United States, including plans to open more quick-service restaurants in stores and remodel more than 70 stores.
