Krispy Krunchy Announces New Locations

Church Point, La., site sees 14% increase in inside sales
CHURCH POINT, La. -- Scotty Legeune's new Krispy Krunchy Chicken location in Church Point, La., formerly housed a Mr. Gatties pizza restaurant. The location is one of the first 45 locations to be opened by Krispy Krunchy this year. Legeune's family has been involved in the business since the 1970s, with this particular convenience store opening in 2005. He owns several other c-stores with McDonalds in them.

"People recognize the name around here," he said of Krispy Krunchy, "and when they come in, they know they're going to get a consistently quality product. With the construction, [image-nocss] people in the area have been very curious, which created some excitement especially with the introduction of the drive thru."

He added, "Krispy Krunchy has set a program in place that will help this location succeed. The graphics and training are second to none. And there has been support through every step."

Legeune (pictured) said he has already seen an approximate 14% increase in inside sales.
