Kum & Go Has Antidote to 'Morning Face'

Promo offers 99-cent cappuccino; sponsors Touch-A-Truck 'friendraiser'

Since Kum & Go hasn't figured out how to let you sleep-in all day, they have come up with the next best solution--away to fight off "morning face."

Kum & Go has launchedits fall promotion Fight Morning Face. From October 1 through November 30, the retailer is encouragingthose with puffy eyes and bad hair to visit [image-nocss] Kum & Go to help fight their morning face with 99-cent 12-oz. coffee and cappuccino, 16-oz. Nuclear Energy drinks and two for $4 breakfast sandwiches.

In addition, Kum & Go has createdwww.FightMorningFace.com for customers to share their morning face with the world. Kum & Go encourages visitors to tell their tales of woe by uploading a photo of their morning face. "No need to primp, floss or shower," it said. The highest rated morning face each week wins a Kum & Go prize pack including a $25 gift card, Kum & Go hat, koozie, football and more.

In other company news, the Kum & Go and the Child Saving Institute (CSI) Guild presented the third-annual Touch-A-Truck event on October 3 in Omaha, Neb. The CSI Guild's "friendraiser" is an event where children can see up close and climb on "real-life" vehicles. The event is free for children and their parents or guardians. Touch-A-Truck will be held in the First Data/UNO parking lots just south of 69th and Pacific Street. Kids will explore emergency, military, semi-trucks, and other commercial vehicles and talk to the people who operate them.

Other activities included face-painting, bouncy houses, clowns and more. To show its appreciation, Kum & Go gave attendees at the event a coupon for a free coffee.

The event is also sponsored by Carson Wealth Management Group and WOWT radio.

Huskers Helicopter 11am - 12:30pm (weather permitting). Life Net Helicopter (1pm weather and emergency permitting). Multiple Emergency vehicles: Fire engines, ambulances and police cars.
