THOMASVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Freshley’s, an award-winning line of snack cakes and pastries from Flowers Foods, is launching a fall sampling tour Oct. 16 through Nov. 13, 2013, to satisfy the sweet tooth of consumers in Albuquerque, San Antonio, Dallas; Columbus, Ohio; and Baltimore. The “Fall in Love with Mrs. Freshley’s” sampling team will be making stops at area supermarkets and convenience stores, handing out popular sweet treats, coupons and prizes.
They also will be providing samples of Mrs. Freshley’s Honey Buns, Mini Donuts, Donut Sticks and Chocolate Cupcakes. Star of the tour is the newest Mrs. Freshley’s treat: Chocolate Dreamies, a creme-filled chocolate cake.
At each tour stop, the sampling team will hand out coupons for free Mrs. Freshley’s snacks, allowing consumers to select their favorites from the more than 50 different Mrs. Freshley’s snack cakes and pastries available in stores. Sampling tour attendees also have the opportunity to win various prizes.
“Our sampling tour is a fun way for us to introduce Mrs. Freshley’s to new fans and meet our loyal fans face to face,” said Meredith Butler, brand manager. “We are excited to have everyone stop by and try Chocolate Dreamies, which we introduced just last month.”
Mrs. Freshley’s will be stopping at local value and convenience stores, including:
- Albuquerque Giant stores, Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 18
- San Antonio 99Cent Only and Valero stores, Thursday, Oct. 24, through Saturday, Oct. 26
- Dallas 99Cent Only and Valero stores, Monday, Oct. 28, through Wednesday, Oct. 30
- Columbus Speedway stores, Monday, Nov. 4, through Wednesday, Nov. 6
- Baltimore Royal Farms stores, Friday, Nov. 8, through Wednesday, Nov. 13
