New Quick Chek Opens in NY

"Super" store coming to NJ

MONROE, N.Y. -- Quick Chek, a privately owned chain of more than 125 food store locations throughout New Jersey and the southern New York metro area, celebrated the grand opening of its newest store in Monroe, N.Y., this week.

Located at 383 Route 17M, the new store features the company's signature coffee bar, made-to-order fresh sub shop, soup bar offering a wide variety of choices daily, bakery items made fresh every day, a no fee ATM center and 12 fueling stations.

Quick Chek will mark its welcome to the local community by donating 25 cents for every sub, sandwich [image-nocss] and wrap sold during its first 30 days of operation to the Monroe-Woodbury Little League.

Meanwhile, Quick Chek is scheduled to open a new convenience store with gasoline pumps in Berkeley, N.J., in the fall, only the second of its kind in Ocean County.

Bob Vallario, real estate vice president for White House Station, N.J.-based Quick Chek, told the Asbury Park Press the Berkeley store, at Central Parkway and Route 9 in the Bayville section of town, will be approximately 5,496 square feet and have eight pumps for dispensing gasoline, as well as parking for about 50 vehicles.

Groundbreaking is set for spring, and when the store opens later this year, it will be the second "super" Quick Chek--that is, a store which also sells gasoline--in Ocean County.

Devoted to providing convenient shopping blended with an expansive range of fresh products and services, Quick Chek is a market leader in foodservice with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh-food program. Operating more than 125 retail locations in New Jersey and the southern New York metro area, Quick Chek's locations include 12 pharmacy stores and 29 locations with fuel
