New Vice Presidents at Alto-Shaam

Promotes Griffith to VP of sales, marketing; welcomes Zornes as VP of national retail accounts

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- Alto-Shaam has promoted Todd Griffith to vice president of sales and marketing. Previously vice president of sales, Griffith will assume leadership responsibility for the marketing, culinary and corporate communications functions within the company.

As a 15-year veteran with Alto-Shaam, Griffith has held various sales and marketing positions with the company including regional sales, national account sales for both foodservice and retail business segments, national sales manager, and most recently as vice president of sales, where he was responsible for strategic planning and the management of the company's business development for the eastern United States.

In his new role, Griffith will maintain a national sales role in addition to the development and execution of Alto-Shaam's corporate global marketing and product development strategies, while remaining actively engaged in the company's healthcare business segment, as well as the development of the selective distribution partner program. He will also assume leadership of the company's culinary team and support resource assets.

Alto-Shaam has also announced the addition of Brian Zornes as the new vice president of national accounts for retail. Previously the vice president of supermarket sales for CSC Worldwide, Zornes has been in sales for more than 25 years.

Zornes began his career with PBI Market Equipment where he was promoted to vice president division manager for the Phoenix branch. He then went on to establish and operate a new branch office in Salt Lake City.

For the past 17 years, Zornes has been with the corporate sales team of CSC Worldwide, formerly Columbus Show Case. There, he was heavily involved in the supermarket industries as well as other retail markets where he has demonstrated a proven track record for increased sales revenue, key account development and new product strategies with key accounts including Safeway, SuperValu and Kroger.

Now, in his new position with Alto-Shaam, Zornes will be responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of targeted regional/national chain and multi-unit account growth within the retail market segment.
