Opens its first Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- Petro Stopping Centers has opened a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant in its Kingsland, Ga., location at I-95, Exit 3, the first Popeye's at a Petro Stopping Centers location.

"We are excited to bring Popeye's to our Kingsland Petro," said Tom O'Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters of America, owner of the Petro chain. "We know drivers crave variety in their travels and when on the clock, need great-tasting food served quickly. We are ready to serve Petro customers Popeyes' favorites with a welcome smile and bring-you-back service."

The Kingsland [image-nocss] Petro location has undergone a complete quick-service-restaurant area renovation. In addition to the Popeye's, Petro expects to open another concept in this location in the next several weeks.

The Petro Stopping Centers brand is owned and operated by TravelCenters of America LLC. TravelCenters is based in Westlake, Ohio, and does business in 41 states and Canada.

Popeyes provides New Orleans-style cuisine, such as spicy and mild chicken, popcorn shrimp, and signature sides, including Cajun rice, mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and Red Beans & Rice.
