KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pilot Flying J will celebrate National Pizza Day on Feb. 9 with free slices of fresh-baked pizza for guests. To take advantage of the offer at more than 250 participating locations, customers need to download the chain's loyalty app.
"Come celebrate National Pizza Day with a delicious slice on the house," said Shannon Johnson, vice president of food innovation for Pilot Flying J. "Hand-crafted in house using fresh ingredients, we are confident we have the highest quality pizza on the interstate."
The 750-unit chain sells more than 17 million slices of pizza each year. Its pizza is made in-house with a focus on fresh ingredients, such as 100% real mozzarella cheese. The chain’s top sellers include Pepperoni, Mega Meat and Loaded Omelet Breakfast Pizza.
Customers can download the deal off the app beginning Feb. 8 and then redeem the promotion using their myRewards card. The myPilot app users also have access to trip planning, real-time parking availability and exclusive rewards.
Pilot Flying J is based in Knoxville, Tenn., and has locations across 44 states. With more than 750 stores, the chain ranked No. 9 in a year-end update of CSP’s2017 Top 202 list of the largest c-store chains in the United States.
