Quick Chek Donates More Than $1,500 to Fire Department

Rutter's announces outstanding team members
KINGSTON, N.Y. -- Quick Chek, a privately owned, family-operated chain of fresh-food convenience store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, has presented a donation of $1,523.25 to the Kingston Fire Department during a special ceremony at its store located in Kingston, N.Y.

The donation represents 25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold during the store's first 30 days in operation following its grand opening in December.

Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based Quick Chek operates nearly 120 retail locations, including 12 pharmacy stores and 20 locations with fuel.

In other retailer news, York, Pa.-based Rutter's Farm Stores has announced its team members of the month for January, February and March.

Their names and the stores where they work:
January: Danielle Koller, York; and Andrew Wollein, Glen Rock, Pa. February: Ashley Martin, York; and Emory Swartz, York. March: Edward Howell, Shippensburg, Pa.; and Kevin Mather, Strinestown, Pa. Family-owned and third-generation managed, Rutter's Farm Stores operates 56 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.
