Quick Chek Expands 'Stuff the Bus' Drive

Campaign against hunger helps fill food banks
WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Check is once again participating in the Stuff the Bus campaign against hunger in Sussex County, N.J. For the third year, WNNJ's Rob Moorhead will be spearheading the campaign against hunger. On November 22 and 23, Sussex County residents will be able to drop off nonperishable food items at any of the eight Quick Chek convenience stores in the county to replenish the food pantry shelves at the Sussex County Department of Human Services, Division of Social Services.

WNNJ and WSUS personalities will be on the air at the locations listed below, [image-nocss] when Sussex County Skylands Ride will have buses available, so people wishing to help provide food for Sussex County's neediest residents will be able to "stuff the bus."

Quick Chek has expanded the food drive by allowing people to drop off food at all eight locations in Sussex County during their hours of operation. There are two stores in Hopatcong and in Newton, and one store in Franklin, Lafayette, Stanhope and Sussex.

Separately, Quick Chek has announced its "Joe to the World" event. On "Black Friday," November 26, customers can stop in for a free medium cup of coffee. It is also touting its new new fall soup lineup, featuring Sweet Potato Bisque, French Vegetable and Italian White Bean with Sausage.
