Quick Chek Opens Store in Lake Katrine, N.Y.

Local officials, store representatives celebrate with Quick Chek Coffee Toast

LAKE KATRINE, N.Y. -- Lake Katrine Quick Chek Store Leader Lynn Rhinesmith cuts the red ribbon in celebration of Quick Chek 's newly opened prototype store in Lake Katrine, N.Y. Quick Chek, which offers convenient foodservice with a fresh coffee and fresh food program, celebrated the opening of its Lake Katrine store, the company 's third store location in the state of New York, on Monday, April 21, 2008.

The 7,260-square-foot store features a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh everyday, a no-fee ATM center, 20 fueling stations and a car wash.

To mark its opening, Quick Chek will donate 25 cents for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold from May 28 to June 24 to the Ulster Hose Company No. 5 Fire Department.

In April, Quick Chek launched a new brand positioning complete with logo, private-label product packaging and enhanced website. With its new logo in the shape of a bright, lime green-colored letter "Q" with tail shaped like a dark green leaf, Quick Chek's new logo represents its commitment to deliver a quality assortment of fresh food products coupled with an elevated foodservice experience.(Click here for previous CSP Daily News coverage.)

Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based Quick Chek is a family-owned and operated chain of more than 100 retail convenience food store locations in New Jersey and New York. Quick Chek 's retail locations include 12 pharmacy stores and 15 locations with fuel.
