Ricker Oil Picks Eby-Brown as Wholesale Distributor

Will leverage proprietary Wakefield Sandwich Co., more

ANDERSON, Ind. -- Ricker Oil has selected Eby-Brown Co. to provide distribution services to its 50 Ricker's convenience store locations in the Indiana market.

For over 30 years, Ricker's has provided the central Indiana region with clean stores, a friendly environment and its "Ricker's Pop" fountain drinks. While evaluating distributors' strengths, Ricker Oil was very impressed with Eby's proprietary Wakefield Sandwich Co., featuring fresh, never frozen sandwiches and environmentally friendly packaging, the companies said.

Quinn Ricker, president of Ricker Oil, said, "[image-nocss] Eby's customer-centric philosophy is in perfect alignment with what we do at every one of our stores. The Eby and Ricker partnership was a natural fit."

Founded in 1979, Ricker Oil is a family-owned company based in Anderson, Ind. It owns and operates 50 convenience stores in Indiana, as well as a petroleum dealership and other enterprises.
