DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Ranger Enterprises Inc., which operates the Road Ranger convenience store and travel center chain, has opened a Chester's restaurant in its c-store located in Dubuque, Iowa. The grand opening marks the first of a multi-unit development program in a newly established partnership between Road Ranger and Chester's International, a fried chicken foodservice offering in the c-store category.
The Dubuque Road Ranger will serve lunch and dinner offering Chester's signature menu options including Chester's fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits, as [image-nocss] well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides. The newest Chester's will also offer both dine-in and carryout options.
"We are excited to be working with a successful operator like Road Ranger," said Ted Giles, CEO of Birmingham, Ala.-based Chester's. "We are also excited about bringing our great tasting fresh fried chicken to several of these locations and look forward to a long relationship with Road Ranger."
Chester's is a provider of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Along with its menu, it offers flexible size and store layout options, training and support.
