Rutter's Adds Pizza Options

Fresh baked, take and bake available at stores with touchscreen ordering
YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores is going after a bigger slice of the pizza market. Rutter's has added fresh-baked, nine-inch premium pizza--prepared within three minutes--to the menu at its stores that offer touchscreen ordering.

Customers can choose from cheese or pepperoni and can add as many as six toppings--onion, mushroom, green pepper, sweet pepper, jalapeno pepper and black olive--at no additional charge.

In addition, Rutter's offers the identical pizzas in its refrigerated sandwich case for home baking. These "take and bake" versions also are available in [image-nocss] cheese or pepperoni.

"Premium pizza is another component of Rutter's meeting the needs of its customers at all times of the day," said Jerry Weiner, vice president of foodservice. "They can stop by Rutter's for a hot pizza in a matter of minutes or bake one at home. Either way, they're getting a delicious meal."

Family-owned and third-generation managed, York. Pa.-based Rutter's operates 56 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.
