SAS to Debut Foodservice Shows

Events to be held in Indianapolis, Lansing, Mich.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Convenience store grocery supplier S. Abraham & Sons Inc. (SAS) has announced its inaugural Foodservice Showcase. Two events will take place, one on August 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Indianapolis Marriott East in Indianapolis, and the second on August 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Mich.

The company hosts an annual trade show in February featuring all of its product categories. This is its first show focusing exclusively on foodservice.

These two new trade shows will gather retailers from [image-nocss] throughout the S. Abraham & Sons eight-state Midwest marketing area with more than 40 exhibitors, featuring a wide variety of convenience-related foodservice offerings.

Exhibitors will showcase hot beverages, cold and frozen beverages, ready-to-eat sandwiches, pizza, chicken, soup, immediate consumption meals, breakfast foods, pastries, ice cream and all related foodservice supplies. There will be food and beverage offerings for every daypart.

Two informational seminars will take place at each show. Bunn-O-Mastic will discuss coffee programs and maintenance, while Kraft Foods will present consumer trends at quick-serve restaurants, the company said.

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based S. Abraham & Sons is a distributor to convenience, grocery, drug and college stores in the states of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
