Sheetz Adds Second Store in Wheeling, W.Va., Market

Governor attends ribbon-cutting ceremony in Triadelphia
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. has increased its store count in the Wheeling, W.Va., area yesterday with a second store location. The new store is located in Triadelphia. Employees hosted a grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Governor Joe Manchin III and local media.

"This has been an area we have been a part of for five years now and we are excited to grow and become a bigger part of this community," said Stan Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz Inc. "The people of Wheeling and Triadelphia have been loyal to us and we hope to continue to give [image-nocss] them the best we have to offer."

The 5,500 square-foot convenience store will offer customers fresh food items like the MTGo! and Shweetz Bakery lines of sandwiches, wraps, donuts and muffins, along with the signature Made-To-Order (MTO) line of Angus beef burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, salads, French fries, onion rings and more.

Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso and smoothie bar staffed by a trained barista is going to be available at the new store as well. Customers can order handmade specialty coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and mochashot, frozen or iced. Sheetz also offers premium brewed self-serve coffees made from 100% Arabica beans in a variety of flavors such as Breakfast Blend, Serious Dark Roast, 100% Colombian and Hazelnut.

As always, customers will place their food and specialty coffee orders at touchscreen order kiosks. A surcharge-free ATM and variety of retailer gift and phone cards will be available to customers as well.

As a part of the celebration Sheetz will be making a donation to Middle Creek Elementary School. The money will be used for the B.A.M! Book of the Month Program that provides more than 300 students with free books each month during the school year.

"Sheetz has a long time tradition of giving back to the communities in which we serve," said Sheetz. It's important to us to be involved in the development of children through educational and recreational activities."
