Sheetz Celebrates Veterans Day

Promotes free meals, car washes for vets and active military personnel

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz is honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel this Veterans Day, Nov. 11. The convenience-store chain is inviting all veterans and service men and women currently in the military to enjoy a free 6-inch turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink at all Sheetz stores.

Additionally, all Sheetz locations that feature car-wash service will offer vets and active military personnel a free car wash on Veterans Day.

"The Sheetz family has always supported the military community and giving back to our service men and women is important to our organization. We invite our veterans and active duty military to join us on Veterans Day as a way for us to say thank you for their service," said Joe Sheetz, president of Sheetz. "We are honored to have the opportunity to show our gratitude for military personnel who have selflessly sacrificed for all of us."

Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz operates more than 538 store locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina.
